How To Make a Great Candy Bar

April 24, 2017

Candy bars are so American but in past few years they have really taken off in the UK, and many of my friends had one at their wedding.

MARCH DEGUSTABOX REVIEW

April 21, 2017

I've been getting the Degustaboxes for quite some time now and it's always exciting to open the box and see what goodies lay inside. I was expecting at least some mini Easter eggs for the March Easter Degustabox* but sadly, there were non. But there were at least some chocolate in the box, so I guess it had to do.

Burmese Food At The Shan State

April 18, 2017

As I mentioned before, Lao Cafe and The Shan State were high on my eat list since I've never tried Laotian food or Burmese food before and I was keen for my tastebuds to be educated.

Fish For Thought | Seafood Recipe Box

April 14, 2017

I adore seafood but don't cook it often enough at home, so when I came across Fish For Thought, I couldn't wait to give them a try.

A Taste of Real Laotian Food at Lao Cafe

April 07, 2017

lao-cafe-london
London is doing so brilliantly at bringing new tastes from around the world and making it accessible in the heart of Central London. There are 3 restaurants that are top of my current hit list, and I've already eaten my way through 2 of them; The Shan State and Lao Cafe. The other one is Kiln, which I will hopefully get to try out soon.

Babease Baby Food Pouches

April 05, 2017

Isaac is now 9 months old and well weaned onto food. He absolutely loves eating and it gives me so my joy to cook for him and watch him eagerly try lots of new flavours.

He's on 3 full meals a day and whilst they are all usually home cooked, shop bought food pouches are so handy for days when we are out and about.

Pillowy Roti at Roti King

March 19, 2017

I'd been working in Euston for a good part of the year without realising that Roti King was right on my doorstep. I'd heard of them many moons ago, but never got round to going so it was just as well that a couple of my colleagues mentioned it.

Keeping Your Car Safe + Healthy

March 14, 2017

Since I inherited my car from my sister in law 6 years ago, I love the freedom it gives me zipping around town and now being able to take my baby to classes, check ups and parties. It's a cute little Nissan Micra from 2002, so you can imagine how well it's done to survive so many years!

Birthday Lunch at Hutong, The Shard

March 09, 2017

A few months ago, back in November, we went to Hutong at The Shard to celebrate my sister's birthday and we had such a great time.

Evening Menu At Jamie's Italian | Covent Garden

March 04, 2017

Jamie's Italian restaurants* are all over London and last week, I met up with one of my favourite girlfriends and my sister to try out their bargain evening menu. The Covent Garden branch is tucked inside the peaceful St Martin's Courtyard and offers a lovely respite from the shoppers on Long Acre.

Milk Train vs Tsujiri | Battle Of The Famed Instagram Ice Creams

February 23, 2017

I follow a bunch of awesome foodies on Instagram and I can always count on them to make me ravenous within fractions of a second. Ever since Yolkin exploded onto the scene, Asian inspired ice creams have followed suit and 2016 saw the opening of Milktrain and Tsujiri, with queues out of the door to match it's hype.

If you're anything like me, ice cream is always a good idea and that's irrelevant of whether its snowing or scorching.
