Mee Market | Soho London

October 02, 2018

mee-market-soho-london
Deli style cafes and markets are nothing new but a Korean one most certainly is. Mee Market is an all day Korean cafe with a deli counter/market shop/homeware store in the midst of Soho. I really like the concept of being able to pick up hot, freshly made food to go or eat in, and well as doing some authentic Korean grocery shopping. The set up reminds me of Japan Centre, which I love hanging out in. Mee Market is a part of On The Bab and Koba, both Korean restaurants I think highly of and would recommend in a heartbeat.

12 Different Soya Sauces and How To Use Them

January 23, 2018

Soya sauce. I had always been familiar with two: Chinese light soya sauce and Chinese dark soya sauce. Occasionally at dim sum, or eating at a Chinese restaurant, I would get to eat a delicious sweet soya sauce, usually added to roast meats and cheung fun (steamed rice rolls). I remember my dad explaining to me as a child, that it was made by cooking dark soya with water and adding sugar.

Kimchi and Bacon Fried Rice with Cheese

October 13, 2016

After an epic meal at Superstar Korean BBQ, I could not get enough kimchi.

Do you guys find that when you've eaten something really good, you get a taste for it and can't stop eating it, then get so bored and not eat it again for ages? Haha, that is certainly the case for me.

Superstar Korean BBQ | London

September 15, 2016

Since becoming a mum, I knew eating out in London would become a rarity. But at 8 weeks old and earlier than I'd imagined, Isaac and I took our first trip to London.

Along with both our babies, my friend and I headed to Superstar Korean BBQ which is located at the very new and modern St Giles Piazza. I love Korean food and whilst I don't have Korean BBQ very often, I always enjoy it so much when I do. I mean what's not to love about barbecuing a huge spread of meat at your own table?

#SouperBlogger Korean Delights with Glorious Adventures!

April 21, 2016

I've never associated myself being one of those lucky people who win things all the time, but my mouth literally dropped to the floor when I found out I had won a trip for 2 to Mumbai.

Weird & Amazing Food Combination Recipe | Pink Lady Apple Kimchi with Bacon and Rice

Are you all thinking apple and kimchi sound strange and weird? Yup, I experimented and it turned out awesome.

Pork, Prawn, Kimchi and Leek Gyoza

April 16, 2015

There are many ways of making gyoza, which is also commonly known as dumpling, potsticker or mandoo depending on who is making them, or where you're eating them.

Jinjuu | Korean in Carnaby Street

April 14, 2015

Want lip-smacking, tasty Korean food in London? Look no further than Jinjuu on Carnaby Street.

Jinjuu had been on my radar to visit even before it was opened thanks to Burger Law, who is always on social media hunting down the latest pop up of restaurants (she is my foodie news broadcaster!).
