I have great memories of trips to Italy and a huge part of that is down to the unbelievably delicious food we ate. Italian food is so homely and when it is made with top quality fresh produce, simple seasoning like olive oil, salt and pepper is really all that you need.
Food says so much about a culture, from the spices used to the way it may be eaten. Immersing yourself in that and trying the local food is a part of any adventure abroad. Italy is a never-ending adventure and whilst I’ve been to 10 Italian cities already, there are still places on my bucket list I want to visit.
So where’s my favourite city for food in Italy? Here’s my Top 3.
