Farewell 2014

December 31, 2014

This year has been an intense year. There were some really great moments and some not so good. I am glad 2014 is almost over, and the new year is upon us.

New years eve is a time I enjoy reflecting on; for all that's happened in the past year, thing's I've achieved, places visited, and most importantly, all the good times spent with loved ones.

Happy New Year everyone and enjoy all your celebrations! I'm celebrating mine with a new blog design and pizza evening at home =)

Here are some of my favourite 2014 moments:

The first home to call our own.

Hello December | Hong Kong Fun

December 22, 2014

Hey guys, it's been a bit quiet around here recently but I'm now back and ready to blog!

If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you'll know I've been in Hong Kong for 2 wonderful weeks. I had intended on blogging, but ended up having far too much fun and I have to admit, it felt really nice to be (mostly) internet and social-network free and indulge in a 'real' holiday.

I have plenty of food adventures and shopping hauls to share with you soon. In the meantime, here's a few snaps from my holiday.

Knot | Wonderful Artisan Coffee in Clapham

December 03, 2014

One of my favourite working morning indulgence is a coffee and pretzel from Knot

The coffee is always great here and well suited to my palette. Deeply aromatic, smooth to drink with a nice 'length', not over roasted (resulting in a bitter aftertaste) or any hints of sourness. The flat white is particularly good with the silkiest milk I've ever tasted.

Biscuiteers | Launch Party in Northcote Road

December 01, 2014

Is it really the 1st of December? Well, it does finally feel like Christmas!

Actually, it started to feel very Christmas-sy from mid last week after attending Biscuiteers* launch party at their newly opened boutique in Northcote Road. Everything in store was so festive and cheery, from the cute Christmas biscuits to the gingerbread house on display. The ambience of the boutique was wonderful too, it felt homey and very chic at the same time.
