On a previous trip to Paris, we wanted to go to Du Pain after reading about their green tea croissants and pistachio & chocolate swirls.
One of the oldest patisseries in Paris, how could we not? But we didn't read up on opening times and arrived only to find out it didn't open at the weekends. And we were in Paris for the weekend. Bummer. With a heavy heart, we left but I vowed I'd come back in the future and this time in Paris I did just that.
Seafood platters really do remind me of being on holiday and being away from the every day hustle and bustle. Hunting one down for one our meals was top of my list on things to do for Paris.
June has turned out to be a busy month with an unexpected trip
to Paris, and various birthday do's including my own.
Paris! The most romantic city in the world? This is my 4th trip, my first 2
trips were with school and I didn't understand the world's fascination with it.
It was dirty, people were rude and drivers in Paris were crazy, and I was sure
I would never go again. But my good friend Burger Law persuaded me to go again
in 2012, and returning to Paris as an adult this time round, it was a
completely different story. Not only did I find Paris pretty and romantic, but
the food was worth coming back for alone!
