October 18, 2018

GARDEN-BEFORE-AND-AFTER
The garden, the last part of our home renovations, went through some serious transformation earlier this year and we finally have an outdoor space that we absolutely cherish. We've had an amazing Summer in the garden from BBQs to tuff-tray messy play, to hanging out in the garden studio.

Over the Summer, I had many opportunities to marinade meats for the BBQ and in particular, one that went down really well was this char siu style chicken, after a self-made-recipe tip off from my good friend Kelly. I used the marinade for chicken wings and drumsticks, and both came out utterly delicious and addictive.

Toy rotation is so important to keep things fresh and interesting without the need to keep buying new toys - a brilliant handy tip passed onto me from my friend Mandy, who always has so much great advice on all things baby/toddler related.

Mee Market | Soho London

Deli style cafes and markets are nothing new but a Korean one most certainly is. Mee Market is an all day Korean cafe with a deli counter/market shop/homeware store in the midst of Soho. I really like the concept of being able to pick up hot, freshly made food to go or eat in, and well as doing some authentic Korean grocery shopping. The set up reminds me of Japan Centre, which I love hanging out in. Mee Market is a part of On The Bab and Koba, both Korean restaurants I think highly of and would recommend in a heartbeat.
