Shirataki 'Miracle-Noodle' Stir Fry

April 29, 2015

Yep, you read that right, miracle-noodles. That's the other name given for shirataki noodles as it differs from regular noodles.

They are made from the Japanese konjac plant and water, and are virtually fat free! At only around 10 calories per 200g, and very low on carbs, this is perfect for low carb diets or if you just want to cut down on carbs. You can read a little more on my previous post here, along with the other goodies I received from Yutaka.

Wanderlust is permanently on my mind and I like to indulge in it as often as possible.

Camellia's Tea House | Carnaby Street

April 18, 2015

Camellia's tea house feels like an oasis right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Carnaby Street. Stepping inside the beautiful and quaint tea house, I felt instant tranquillity. I could have been somewhere in the countryside, and not in central London.

April 16, 2015

There are many ways of making gyoza, which is also commonly known as dumpling, potsticker or mandoo depending on who is making them, or where you're eating them.

April 14, 2015

Want lip-smacking, tasty Korean food in London? Look no further than Jinjuu on Carnaby Street.

Jinjuu had been on my radar to visit even before it was opened thanks to Burger Law, who is always on social media hunting down the latest pop up of restaurants (she is my foodie news broadcaster!).

Happy 1st birthday to my blog!!

I can't believe it has been a full year since I uploaded my first post. It has been 12 months of blogging fun and so much learning. I must have timed it last year, since 12th April is also my husband's birthday. Happy birthday hubby! That's his birthday cake right there (will be sharing the recipe soon).

Brunch at The Soda Works + Tongue N Cheek | London

April 09, 2015

March was a month filled with an insane amount of food. There were a lot of lunches and dinners since invites were flying left, right and centre! I guess this is what usually happens in UK when the spring sun starts to peek out from the winter gloom.

Whenever I think of Easter, these are the things that spring to mind: Bunnies, mini eggs, chicks and roast lamb.
