Today is the big day! The wedding doesn't start until late afternoon, so we have time to get breakfast, chill on the beach and squeeze in an afternoon nap.

It's getting closer to the wedding day and we have more friends and the happy couple themselves flying in to join us today. We've got plans to have lunch at the highly recommended Balique by a couple of friends who had been before, and then it's a pre-wedding party at the almost-newly-weds villa.

Having received this incredibly cute Japanese shinkansen train bento box for my train-obessed toddler, I knew that creating my first bento box lunch was imminent. Fussy eaters or not, bento box recipes for toddlers are exciting, fun and can easily incorporate all the healthy food groups in one box.

I've had this blog post sitting in my drafts since 2013 (yes, 2013 dammit!) so you may notice the difference in worktop counter and photography style compared to my usual recipe posts, haha! I still want to share it though as this is a really good recipe and one that I make at home quite regularly.

We've booked a half day trip to see a cultural park nearish to our hotel. This was to satisfy me more than the others in our group as I wanted to feel like we actually got to see some of the culture in Bali, and not just spend the entire holiday hanging out in our hotel and at the beach.

Whilst I'm not moving houses anytime soon, I have done it so many times in my life and the best thing you can do to minimise stress is to get organised with a timeline of tasks, as soon as you know you're going to be moving. I recently helped a friend out with said tedious task and as she was planning on moving countries, the first thing we did was to reduce and get rid of her belongings as much as possible. This absolutely works even if you are just moving down the road, offloading and moving 'light' is essential.

Bali really is one of those places I've always wanted to go to for the longest of times and thanks to one of my best friends who decided to get married there in October last year, it was the perfect excuse to tick it off my bucket list. And not only did we get to enjoy 6 beautiful days in Bali, we also got to experience our first beach wedding which was just incredible.

A very belated happy new year guys! I've definitely been MIA on the blog, December came round so quickly and the WHOLE month became Christmas month with baking, parties and so many outings. I hope you all had a fabulous festive break and ready for 2019 - I totally am! This year, my blog will be more focused on sharing recipes, great places to eat out in London and travel blogs. I'll be cutting back on home + lifestyle posts since I realised my real passion is food and I really should dedicate more time to it.

Tao-Tao-Restaurant-The-Best-and-Cheapest-Seafood-In-Sai-Kung-Hong-Kong

One of the best places I've eaten at in Hong Kong this year has got to be at Tao Tao in Sai Kung at Pak Sha Wan pier. I first went in April earlier this year and then again in October, both times were as good as each other and best of all, on the latest visit I took my parents and my dad gave his stamp of approval.
