NOVEMBER DEGUSTABOX REVIEW

February 04, 2016

Another month and another delicious box of food surprises! This month's box was by far the most exciting that I've received so far, mainly because it is packed to the brim thanks to Christmas. As if we weren't going to be over indulging anyway... hehe.

There's a fabulous mix of savoury crackers and condiments, sweet snacks and beverage things. I shared most of the things in this box with my hubby and sis, and we all had our favourites.

Japanese Furikake Spaghetti + Fun Pasta Shapes

January 29, 2016

Pasta is one of the dishes that is just so comforting and easy to eat, I mean, who doesn't love pasta? Everyone knows that pasta is a staple of Italian food but it is so hugely popular that many countries and cultures have their own ways of cooking with it.

Living The Lagom Way with Ikea #LiveLagom

January 28, 2016

When I first heard about Ikea's Live Lagom project, I knew I had to get involved. Through an application process that took place at the end of 2015, I am so excited to announce that I was one of the lucky ones, along with another 249 families to have been picked for the project.

Exquiste Afternoon Tea at Home with Ahmad Tea

January 20, 2016

On a cold, cold weekend morning, the best way to keep warm is of course with a cuppa. I love my teas, especially an English Breakfast tea, but try not to drink too much in the day so that the caffeine will actually still work when I need it.

When the lovely people at Ahmad Tea* sent me some teas to try, I knew it would be one of those relaxing mornings of tea sampling.

I'M IN A COOKBOOK! Thai-Style Sweet Chilli Glazed Salmon #FITFOODBMF

January 17, 2016

I'm in a book!! A cookbook...!

As a food blogger (mainly), it would be a dream to have my own cookbook one day, so to see my recipe printed in a book, in hard copy, really was one of those wow moments and it's all thanks to British Miliary Fitness for asking me to join in the fun. I'm so happy to be a part of the #FitFoodBMF campaign.

December Holiday Photobook | Hello Taiwan + Hong Kong!

January 07, 2016

Hi guys, hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Year break! As most of you know, I've been a little absent on blog-o-sphere since I went to Taiwan and Hong Kong for 2.5 weeks in December, but I'm now back and ready to blog!

Farewell 2015

December 31, 2015

2015 has been an incredible year.

The past 365 days have just flown by and we've ended the year on a high with a great holiday in Taiwan and Hong Kong. G and I have been away for most of December, hence all the quietness on the blog this month.

Classic Claypot Rice With Lap Cheung, Preserved Pork Belly + Blackbean Pork

December 07, 2015

Claypot rice is a classic Chinese winter warmer and I love eating this dish if I happen to be in Hong Kong during the winter months (and I will be this year!!).

There's usually a range of toppings, anything from preserved sausages called lap cheung to chicken, to eel, beef and salted fish with pork. My favourite however is always the blackbean ribs with lap cheung.

The Quirkiest Coffee House in London, The Black Penny

December 04, 2015

In between blogging events a little while ago, I was on the hunt for a coffee and a little break and I must have found the quirkiest coffee house in London. Situated between Holborn and Covent Garden is The Black Penny.

The interiors caught my attention as I walked past and I had to retrace my steps for a better look. The decor was so idealic with a touch of rustic, industrial/warehousey and a slight french vibe to it. I know they say you can't judge a book by it's cover, but I knew the coffee just had to be great with decor like this. And damn good a coffee it was.

#GloriousAdventures in Phuket Thailand

November 30, 2015

I am a huge Glorious! soup fan and to be honest, before they came along, I couldn't stand the fresh supermarket soups. I found them bland and a pure waste of calories.
