October Degustabox Review

I know, I know. We are in January and I've only just got round to showing you guys what came in the October Degustabox*. Ooops!

Getting a big box of surprise snacks and condiments through the post every month is definitely a lot of fun and this month is no different. You can read what I received in my September Degustabox.

Each month, the box comes with around 9-14 items and if you use the discount code BLDEG15 at checkout this only works out to be £6.99 and includes delivery (original price £12.99)! I really enjoyed a lot of the items in this month's box, some of which I will definitely be repurchasing.

October Degustabox Highlights

Lorina coconut and lime drink. A premium French lemonade handcrafted since 1895. It tastes absolutely devine, so light and refreshing!

Chip Strips. These reminded me Pringles, but lighter, thinner, a whole lot bigger and they were so addictive. Salt and vinegar was a favourite.

The Snack Organisation rice crackers. Same with the Chip Strips, I found these highly addictive too. They are the perfect balance of salty but a little sweet too. Between me and hubby, we polished it off in 30 minutes.

The Snack Organisation freeze dried fruit in apricot. I love apricots and the freeze dried fruits were so good to nibble on during a work mid-morning. They are not too tart and sweeter than other freeze dried fruits I've tried and I'll be repurchasing them. You can sprinkle it on cereal/porridge or eat on their own and counts as 1 of your 5 a day.

The Other Goodies

Cirio passata and chopped tomatoes. This is a brand I use regularly for pastas, chilli con carne and pizzas. It's a great quality brand and often there are good deals for them in the supermarkets.

Food Thoughts cocoa. Another brand one I love to use in baking and for making desserts with. It's organic fairtrade 100% cocoa and it's so chocolatey. Tastes like how good quality chocolate should be.

Provena Gluten Free oat meal. As I'm not gluten intolerant, I can't say this is one I've tried before or particularly love. I don't enjoy having fruit (in any form) in my morning cereals/porridge/weetabix and found that the dried fruit made it quite tart. However, in saying that, I did share with colleagues who loved it.

Liberation nuts. Pretty moreish with exciting flavours. I especially enjoyed the chilli and lime flavour.

9Bar Original Carob Hit. Packed full sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and hemp seeds, topped with carob. They were quite heavy and sure works as a filler as I was stuffed after eating one.

Kabuto noodles. These are clean and healthy tasting which makes for a good lunch, but I did find it on the bland side and added additional soya sauce and chilli sauce to spice it up.

President butter (in voucher form). Another quality brand I use in baking. Made in the heart of Normandy for over 40 years.

Don't forget to use the code BLDEG15 at checkout if you want to try the Degustabox for yourselves, at a bargain £6.99!
