Living Room Update

After being in Hong Kong for a month with Isaac, it feels so good to be home and be surrounded by home comforts. It's taken over a week to get back into our normal routine and the past few days have been spent unpacking boxes and getting the house ready for Christmas.

We planned for our downstairs bathroom to be re-fitted, so I took Isaac to Hong Kong to escape all the dust and mess whilst G stayed behind to look after the works. Once everything was back in its rightful place, I couldn't wait to give our living room a little update.

Our main living room wall has been bare ever since we moved in 2 years ago and I'd always intended on hanging up some prints or photo frames.

I adore these copper frames from Cox & Cox*, they fit in so well with the industrial/rustic theme I have going. They come in large and medium with a copper or silver finish, and the best thing is, they are on sale at the moment!

Cox & Cox are fast becoming one of my favourite homeware shops, I have to restrain myself from adding everything into my basket.

After copper embellished homeware, my next obsession is concrete with half dipped pastel coloured pieces like this vase. It has the same industrial charm as metal, but the pop of colour adds warmth to an otherwise cold-looking material.

I picked up this copper glitter sided reindeer from Primark and together with some tree trunk placecard holders that I salvaged from a friend's beautiful wedding, I like how it adds that cosy winter feeling.

The candlestick holder and gold tray is from H&M home, and the glass pyramid from Cotton On in Hong Kong.

The console table gets updated from time to time, and with this update I've had to move all breakables from the bottom shelf as we start to baby proof everything. Isaac will be turning 6 months soon and it won't be long before he starts crawling and exploring!

Only 2 days until Christmas, I hope you all have a wonderful time and enjoy all the festivities! Anyone fitting in some sales shopping post Christmas? I think I might this year...

Happy Christmas & a very happy new year to all my dear readers!
