The Love Shake | Bar in Shoreditch

I met up with my friend Adrenaline G on Friday night for a catch up, and we ended up in The Love Shake bar after dinner. Adrenaline G knew the owners and suggested we go there to carry on nattering and I liked the look of the place from the outside.

The Love Shake is designed as a retro American diner & bar, with lots of vintage trinkets filling the space, and even has an old-school Street Fighter game station. And what's even cooler is that they don't charge for games on it.

The vibe here is really easy going, comfortable, with a great ambiance and the decor is just so cool! We end up in one of the booth stalls which is cozy and not long into the evening, I meet both Li & Tunde, the bar owners, and have a great time chatting to them. Apparently, they open late every single night (2.30am!) and their specialty is the "hard shakes" -American diner style milkshakes with booze!

I can see from their menu, they serve milkshakes and hotdogs. Pity I was already full from dinner, otherwise I would have happily tucked into either or both! I've mentally bookmarked this bar for any upcoming social events - I can't wait to have a party here.

  1. The Love Shake sounds like such a fun spot! I love places with a retro vibe and free arcade stations—it makes hanging out even more entertaining. Speaking of games, I recently came across Lucky 101 game, which offers exciting card games and other fun gameplay with real cash rewards. It’s great for both beginners and experienced players, and the platform also has plenty of bonuses and promotions to keep things interesting. Definitely a fun way to enjoy some gaming action when you’re not out at cool bars like The Love Shake!
