By using recycled silver, this means Sacet* can avoid using large silver mines which are not environmental-friendly. They also put great focus on ethical polishing of diamonds and gemstones, working with suppliers and factories factories that adhere to fair pay and good working conditions. And that's not all, all the packaging used are made from recycled cardboard and paper, and jewellery bags made from cotton.
With that amazing ethos behind their work, they are also supported by great designers and a home trial service where you get to try on the jewellery in the comfort of your own home before you commit to them.
I love simplicity in jewellery and not really much a 'statement piece' kinda girl. These rose gold necklace and earrings fit the bill perfectly and they both have a super cool design to them.
The Lujia perched-butterfly necklace can be worn 2 ways; worn upright and the pendant is an abstract heart. Invert it, and it becomes a pair of folded butterfly wings or 2 little sweet tear drops. The Lujia North-east earrings are designed to look like a cuff but with the added security of an earring. Genius! Both pieces of jewellery feel high quality and durable and most importantly, pretty unique in design.
Both pieces of jewellery are made of 18k rose gold vermeil on silver. Vermeil jewellery is on of the hottest trends in jewellery now as it strikes a great balance between quality and value for money. Vermeil is a type of gold finished material that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver.
I love the simple and elegant design of the boxes and I'm sure I will be wearing both these pieces to all the weddings I'll be going to this Summer.
