3 Ingredient Spicy + Tangy Chicken Wings with Salad

Chicken wings! I don't think it's much of a secret that if you are Asian, you will love your wings, I know I certainly do and even hosted a chicken wing party once upon a time. If you are a lover of wings, take a look at my chicken wing recipes and I'd love to know if you try any of them out.

Back to this recipe, I have been loving this sauce mix so much lately and it can be added to any protein you want, and then have it grilled/roasted/pan-fried. I even enjoy it as a salad dressing! For more ideas of what to make with salad, take a look at salad recipes.

It's so easy with only 3 ingredients used for the sauce and is tastes super when served with a nice crisp Florette* salad.

You'll need these 3 condiments: Squid brand fish sauce, which is my favourite brand for fish sauce, Thai sweet chilli sauce, and rice vinegar.

Mix the 3 sauces together (recipe and measurements below) in a bowl.

Pour over the wings, and using your hands, rub the wings in the sauce well so that it's well marinaded. Roast on high heat for around 30 mins and you have delicious wings to go with your salad. Wasn't that just super easy?!

The combination of the salty fish sauce with the sweet and spicy tang from the sweet chilli is incredibly addictive. The rice vinegar sharpens the acidity in the sweet chilli sauce and brings out the flavour even more.

Ingredients:
x10 chicken wings
3 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
4 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar

Directions:
1. Wash the chicken wings and take care to clean it well. Lay in them in a roasting tray. Excess water is fine so there is no need to pat dry
2. Combine the 3 sauces together in a bowl and mix well
3. Pour the sauce over the wings, and using your hands, rub the wings in the sauce well so that it's well marinaded
4. Roast on high heat in the oven for around 30 mins, and be sure to turn halfway so both sides of rthe skin can crisp up
5. Serve with your favourite salad and tuck in!

*Thanks to Florette for sending me their salads to try

    1. This sauce makes the wings so addictive. Wings are high in fat though, so not too often =P
